One Hogwarts student after the other is found lithified. A message from the “Heir of Slytherin” has been scrawled on the wall – in sanguineous letters: “The Chamber of Secrets has been opened”. Many pupils consider Harry to be the offender; so, together with his friends, he tries to find out who is at the bottom of the assaults and when the chamber has been opened before.
“Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” manages it to overtrump the first film. That works mainly because of a higher level of suspense and better special effects. The animation of the different mythical creatures has succeeded well, the camera work is as great as in the first part. The humour is conveyed well again, too.
Overall a very amusing movie.
