“Blackbird” – the second album of the hard rock band “Alter Bridge”, the successive band of “Creed” – catches your eye by a chic cover. The content is impressing as well: Stylistically, the songs are very similar to the ones of the first album “One Day Remains”. They are mostly calm, that is why no song sticks out; however, the chant and the play of the drums and guitars are impressive. My favourite is “Ties That Bind”.
The album costs 15 euro and is thus in the medium price range; considering the quality of the songs, that is definitely adequate.
